There are many activities at Our Saviour to support your faithlife. A warm welcome, fellowship, and Christ-based programs are frequently offered. Of course, there's always coffee and cake on Sunday morning in the Fellowship Hall and you're invited.

Special Offering

World Hunger is the recipient of our special offering for April. The Lutheran World Hunger program is one of the most successful appeal of the ELCA, bringing millions of dollars in relief to people in the U.S. and other countries.

Parish Visitors

In cooperation with the Presbyterain Church at Marion Oaks we are starting a training program for members of churches to visit with people who are homebound, in nursing homes, hospitals or who are lonely and in need of a Christian friend. If you would be interested in this ministry, please tell Pr. Kofink.

Pentecost Jazz Concert

"Music with Heart", this year's Jazz concert, will be Sunday, May 23 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Our Saviour. It will feature the cool jazz sounds of Opus Three with our own Charlie Remillard at the keyboard. A freewill offering will be received to benefit Interfaith Emergency Services' Food 4 Kids program. We are in need of sponsors to defray the costs of the concert so the entire offering can help the kids. If you would like to be a sponsor, please contact Mary Johnson.

Our Community

Our Saviour joins with other community churches in challenging our members fo help keep Marion Oaks clean and beautiful. Doing, not complaining, makes a difference!

Social Harmony

Our Saviour Lutheran Church Congregational Council subscribes to the One Ocala One America Pledge and encourages its members to do so as well. All are encouraged to participate in community activities in support of One Ocala One America, which promotes racial harmony and cultural understanding. Events are scheduled throughout the first week in Ocala. Visit www.ocalafl.org for additional information.
